Beacon Cancer Navigation provides structured, non-clinical navigation support for patients and caregivers referred by community oncology practices and rural cancer programs. The 90-day pilot helps address agreed logistical, financial-resource, organizational, caregiver, and administrative needs while documenting navigation activity and measurable operational outcomes.
Oncology nurses, social workers, navigators, and administrative staff are often responsible for time-intensive patient needs outside the clinical visit. Beacon Cancer Navigation provides defined overflow capacity for appropriate non-clinical tasks so internal teams can devote more time to responsibilities requiring their professional expertise.
